Garrett update in a nutshell
Garrett is doing great! I haven't forwarded his letters since May because while in Georgetown he sent vlogs instead of letters, and they were too big to post on this blog or send through email. I am working on a highlight reel, and will send as soon as it is finished.
Garrett LOVED Georgetown, had two great companions there and a couple of baptisms.

He has since been transferred and is currently serving as the district leader in Littleton, MA, just outside of Boston. It is a tough area and his companion goes home in 10 days so he is pretty trunky. Garrett sends little blurbs every so often like: "I absolutely love the book of Mosiah. My favorite is Mosiah 24:13-15. It's the one I use most often to people on the streets. I love it!"
And also like this: "Right now I don't have too many stories, to be honest. This area is kind of rough! There is nobody outside. There is nobody home. I literally talk to everyone I see and nobody is interested so it's been a pretty boring transfer, but I have faith that we will find some people to teach the gospel! Miracles have not ceased!"

This week we received this letter:
Hey Mom! I have no time to write today because I am currently at a district P-day! I'm sorry, but I'm doing good! It was a good week. We found 3 people to teach and they seem pretty cool! The countdown is 10 days till transfers haha I'm excited! I'm going to switch things up when my companion leaves.
Crazy I've been out a year. I can't believe it! I'll write you more next week, I promise! Tell the family I love them.
Last week he wrote:
We were talking to a girl on the street the other day and she apparently posted a picture of us on Instagram. A member of our ward follows her on Instagram, saw it and texted it to us. haha It was funny.
Here are some snapshots of the past few months.
