Maine week five: "Who's your king?"

Hello friends and family!!!! What a week!! Power was out! Huge storm. What should I even start with?? 

Alright, first off I went on an exchange this week with Elder Rex and wow, ha ha ha, he is a funny guy. We were at his apartment and out of nowhere he pulls out a bag of legos and starts playing with them for 30 minutes. I was like okkkkk, are we gonna go do something??? Ha ha ha such a funny experience! 

Later that day we were walking and some guy gets out of his car and he was like, "Who's your king?" I was like, "Jesus Christ," and he was like, "What? I can't hear you!" So I said it a little louder, then he said again, "What?" so I screamed out in the middle of the road! I was like, "JESUS CHRIST!" Then he was like, "That's right!" Then we just walked away and I thought, wow did I really just say that?  ha ha ha ha 

Another cool thing that happened was we saw these people moving a bunch of stuff out of their house so we decided to help them and I guess they only had like 12 hours to get all off their stuff out so they were really thankful to us for helping them. They said we were sent from God cuz they were really struggling, so that was awesome! And I left them with a Book of Mormon! 

Also we have an investigator who has been wanting to get baptized but has never really been committed so we set up an appointment and she had a lot of questions for us. You can tell she just started to understand why she needs to be baptized and so we gave her a date to prepare for baptism, and she accepted!! So me and Elder Bester were pumped!! Might be having our first baptism soon!! Hopefully!! 

One more thing! Okay so we've been working with this guy and he's awesome! He wants to come to church, but always has something come up at the last second so we wanted to commit him to coming this Sunday and he said yes, but once again he bailed. So that was frustrating.  BUT as we were in sacrament meeting we see a different investigator show up. But wait, I'm not done. Then another one showed up, then another, THEN another! Not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 investigators showed up! Me and Elder Bester looked at each other like whhhhhhatttttt!!!! Haha it was awesome!
