Third week in Cornish Maine--whitewashing the area.

I have p-day today because this weekend we are camping at the Joseph Smith Birthplace Memorial.

This week was just a lot of street contacting because me and my companion are starting up a new area so we are just trying to find new people.  We did find 8 new investigators and 2 of them might be coming to church this week but we don't know because they always back out last minute or something pops up ha ha

Everything is going good!! I love being a missionary. Every one gives you the weirdest looks ha ha Starting a new area is pretty tough, but the ward is awesome! Oh and everyone loves the sister missionaries and just wants the Elders for service. ha ha Every one of the members are like "oh what happened to the sister missionaries?" Me and my comp just have to start teaching  and find a lot of people because the sister missionaries didn't have a lot of success so we are kind of starting from scratch! Everything is going good and I'm meeting a lot of people who need the gospel in their lives that's for sure. lot of people here are interested in the gospel, but they always back out last second so it's frustrating. Also, a lot of people here smoke so it's hard for them to stop smoking to be baptized.

My companion is way sick. He is leaving home soon so he is way chill, but still obedient and just loves to have fun with stuff, so that's good. There is literally nobody in Maine, except for people who just want to be alone ha ha ha It's crazy. It's like a ghost town and it feels like I'm in the walking dead,  but it's good and I'm starting to like it a lot!

Some people don't like Mormons here. We went to this house in the middle of nowhere and they had like 8 dogs that they sent out ot try to kill us. It was so scary! ha ha

Love you all! I have a good feeling that this week is gonna be a great week!
