Week Four--Another great week in Maine

HELLLLOOOO FAMILY!!!

This week was a great week!! We went to the Joseph Smith Memorial and it was awesome! I did like 8 hours of service. It was crazy, but good. What a blessing it is to serve in the same place where the prophet who restored the gospel of our church was born! We also had a campfire and that was so sweet. I felt the spirit so strong. We went around the campfire and each companionship taught a principle of the restoration so that was scary, but a good experience ha ha!

The rest of the week we spent finding on the streets of Conway! Awesome story. So we were filling up gas and I saw some lady peak her out from behind this tree. So I was like, "let's go talk to them!" So we crossed the street and I think they thought we were police or something because they looked scared.  I said "you scared of us?" Ha ha ha ha ha I don't know why I said that, but it worked. They were these two young ladies who talked to us about all of their boyfriend problems and how they're going through a tough time so we told them about our gospel! And they wanna know more! What a miracle that I saw their heads poke out of that tree. ha ha So funny!

We are also teaching this guy who is a part-member child. His mom is less active and his dad is not religious but we went to his house anyway and we just talked to him and got to know him! He is awesome and he loves football and apparently loves reading so we told him to read the Book of Mormon. He wanted to learn more and apparently while I was on exchange with elder McCormick they taught caleb again and he accepted a baptismal invite so that was awesome! We are finding a lot of new investagators and we are teaching a lot!

Oh also while I was on exchange,  we had this Octoberfest thing. We built this huuuggggggggeeeee Goliath poster and we had elder Don dress up as David and we bought some marshmallows and a sling shot and had the kids try to hit Goliath with the marshmallow. It was so funny! We would talk to the parents while the kids were shooting. haha It was pretty funny!

And we went on a hike this morning. It was awesome such a  great view!! Check these leaves!!!!

New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont are beautiful places. Everyone keeps saying that is fall is a disappointment, but I don't understand why. ha ha

Every town in Maine is named after some town or country in Europe, like Denmark (hence my confused face).

Anyways that was my week!!
