Dragons and Swords

Hey Family and friends!

This week was a good week! I get to stay in Cornish with Elder Wandry and I am SO happy. I am really loving the ward! They are seriously my family! I love going to church and seeing the members (and also because it's church).

OK theeeeee funniest thing happened at church yesterday! I had to go bathroom and while I was in the stall I hear the biggest fart hahah!! So I look through the crack of the stall to see who it was and it was bishop hahahah!! So I said, "Bishhhoppppp, was that you?" (kind of chuckling) and we both just start busting out laughing hahaha!! Sooo funny!!

Anyways, now that the spirit is completely gone. ha ha This week we had a appointment with Evan and it was awesome. He is the most prepared person. While we were teaching him the plan of salvation he said he has always had those thoughts and questions about what happens after this life, but never had any confirmation or someone to back it up. It was really cool. He is going on vacation and we won't be able to see him till February 8th, BUT he set a baptismal date for March 3rd so we are excited!

Also one of our investigators, Dave, randomly called and said his back was killing him so he wanted us to come over and give him a  priesthood blessing. It was a cool experience. Hopefully he will be able to commit to baptism soon. Pray for Dave!

We are looking to set a baptismal date with caleb as well this week!

We had a Chinese New Years party with the ward, and it was so fun! There was this huge dragon there and it was cool. After the party they were planning on just throwing the dragon away so we said "We will take it!" Haha Now we have this huge dragon head in the apartment. haha It's so funny!

We had a member appointment at the bishop's house (before the incident) and while we were eating dinner, John the bishop's son ran upstairs and grabbed his huge sword and some 5 star wrecking ball. haha We got some pretty cool photos with them haha!

But that's about it for this week, I am doing great and loving the work and the area. I love and miss everybody so much, but this is where I'm supposed to be at this time, and I will see you all soon!!!
