Prayers were answered

Hello all you filthy animals!! 

This week has been a good one! Not much happened on Tuesday or Wednesday, but Thursday Evan canceled again); and the other appointment canceled again, but it's all good. They can't cancel on us three weeks in a row right?! Haha! 

Wednesday we went to the rec center because the people we play basketball with on Monday nights asked us to come and it's way better! There are a bunch of YSA people playing ball, it's like a gold mine. One of them said they already have a copy of the Book of Mormon, so we are going back this week with the zone leaders. It's gonna be good. 

Funny story, so we called a return missionary to come teach with us on Friday and when we get there he called us to say he was stuck. Haha So we go find him and he parked in this store parking lot that hadn't been shoveled yet. It was covered in ice and his tires were so bad that he couldn't reverse out. He just kept sliding. It was like he was Ice skating with his car haha!! So we had to push him out!! It was so funny. Had to be there. 

Okay so here's the cool part--we were at district meeting and we got a call from Dave #1. We asked if we could step out and take the call really quick, so we did. Dave said he spilled water all over his computer and it was fried, so he prayed about and just went to bed. He woke up in the middle of the night and heard something like someone was messing with his computer so he went to check on it and his computer was completely fixed. He called us and wanted to let us know that after he finishes the Book of Mormon he is getting baptized and he doesn't care about tithing or anything anymore. That was way cool. Thanks for your prayers for him.

To end the week we went store contacting in North Conway and we started talking to this worker and he was way cool. He is still in high school and he was interested in what we are doing here. So we started talking and I asked him if he knew a couple of people from his high school that I have run into in the past. he said he did, so I said, "Oh ya, we gave a couple of your friends the Book of Mormon." And he was like, "Oh ya, I've heard of that. Can I get a copy?" So we gave him one and added him on Facebook and so we are excited about him.

Pretty bad snow storm on Sunday, which ended church early again . . .

But that's about it. I've been reading in the Bible a lot lately and it's crazy how the Book of Mormon and the Bible go hand in hand! People in new England love the Bso I have to have some comebacks for Bible bashing! Haha Just kidding.
