Bubbles and Buttercup and my first Baptism!
Hello friends and family!!
Elder Frampton
This week was a great week!! Because . . . yes, Tea got baptized! It was amazing and I loved it! Not gonna lie I was a little nervous and scared but it turned out to be great! It was so cool because before the baptism me and Elder Bester saw Tea in a room by herself just praying and praying and praying. She probably prayed for like 10 minutes, which is sweet! Then after the baptism all she could say to me was "Thank you thank you thankyou!" It was a really cool experience that I will never forget. She is the best. And she got confirmed yesterday at church. It was awesome.
Dave has been doing pretty good. He said he would already be baptized if it wasn't for paying tithing so we're are working on that. Then we had dinner with Paul and he is my favorite. He is so cool! He had so many questions about our church and loves what we do as missionaries, especially with his son Brian being baptized. He says he has already seen really great things in Brian that have changed ever since he joined the church! So Paul is getting there, but he has a girlfriend so he needs to get married! Then Tea' s husband Ron is a great guy! He's always been tagging along with Tea, but at her baptism he was loving it and was so involved and supported her fully. It was sweet! Good things are happening.
Later this week me and Elder Bester made this "Light the world poster" and it's actually pretty cool! We walk around Conway and hold up a huge sign made out of lightbulbs that says "LIGHT THE WORLD" and while people are driving by they honk and love it. Then we stop people on the streets and ask people, "how are you going to light the world this Christmas season?" then they write it on the poster and we take a picture with them. When the poster is all filled up we are going to make a collage of all the pictures and also make a video out of it! It gonna be sweet!
Butter cup and bubbles (elf names) volunteered again as elves and it was even better and funnier this time because I went with Elder Larsen. He is one funny dude, oh my! He has some funny dance moves. He was amazing and it reminded me of a young Alan Frampton hahaha I couldn't stop laughing on stage! Everyone and the other elves were looking at us so weirdly, but they thought it was pretty funny too! All of the kids came up to us after the show and were like "bye butter cup!" "Bye bubbles"! It is so fun! I've never seen kids so excited to see Santa! Haha and yes I took pictures.
It was a good week this week! And yes, it has been snowing a lot in the past few days and it's continuing to snow from what I have been hearing. I hope I stay here in Cornish! I love it. I think we have a lot of potential in this area! I love this gospel and love being a tool for God to bring people a message that will help them throughout their life!
Love you guys!
